Hi all,
I've put together a more structured training plan. I try to avoid being to rigid or specific with the technical actions as I want each player to develop their own creativity so everyone looks different on the field and brings something unique to the game. I understand everyone would have different space to work with daily. So you can choose one of the technical topics and follow along depending on the space you have on the day. I will also upload videos and share to give example of sessions to some of the topics. The training cycles runs Monday to Friday. On Saturday and Sunday I would like to see each player create their own technical circuit and send a short video. I will review and post the video as the best technical circuit of the week. The training cycle will have weekly workout which will be physical, and technical workout for each day. Reminder that technique is an action based on a decision. Repetition is important but making the situation realistic to where you may have simulated body positioning and movements as in a game is very important to develop corrective technique. Therefore it is best to develop circuits like seen in several of the videos or follow along. https://youtu.be/LPSyO2zgDJ8 Daily Fitness Routine Please follow along where applicable. If you do not have some of the equipments as in this video you can use cones as hurdles and substitute it for other objects. The exact equipment isn't required for majority of the exercises. https://youtu.be/IlCz1mPoRDo Please do remember lots of effort is required to maintain fitness to an acceptable level, and speed of passes and movements with the ball is critical to improve technique.

You can always take a look at some of their contents to include in your daily workouts/training. https://www.newyorkredbulls.com/youth/train-home Hi,
If the kids have access to a goal this weekend here is an example of finishing activities that require different technical actions and body positioning. Pay attention to the details of body profile in the video. Even in a 1on1 training the player is encouraged to have awareness by checking shoulders, and correct body positioning related to where the ball is. For development of technique increase the speed/trajectory of passes which will challenge the first touch. https://youtu.be/5RAeUumrndY https://youtu.be/BGEW5-av5VI Hope everyone been finding some time to get some touches in while being safe.
Here's another video to work on controlling and dribbling. It can be done with the use of a wall or help of a parent/sibling. https://youtu.be/LRXxM0xbsho Continue Daily workout https://youtu.be/XAYNxtMBAWs 50 situps and Pushups 15-20minutes Suicides You can always send short videos to my email or phone 215-300-1872 The kids can create their own workout or follow along but be creative and use different dribbling skills and different skills with their first touch.
This 6 Cone Technical Workout can be done with the help of another person or the use of a wall. To use the activity for shooting: instead of passing back to a target, have a shot on goal. Do 20min Passing back and 20min Shooting if you have a goal. The player will receive the ball inbetween the space as shown in the video. He will then have a first touch and dribble straight at a cone, turn around it or perform a move to get pass the cone and play a pass/shot to target or wall. It is very important that each player find the drive to push themselves. Go for 1minute then rest for 30 seconds and go again for maxium effort. https://youtu.be/8nTENc8z1hI Example of changing up to be creative. See the first touch. https://youtu.be/XIiXlQyWD1g Today's video brings the same setup as the weekend workout. Now we progress to oriented controls and settling the ball out of the air.
Sorry for the qaulity of the video, it's hard to record and feed the ball at the same time, but the qaulity is good enough to clearly see the drill. https://youtu.be/15izr7f2f-w Oriented Control to space - your first touch must exit one of the gates. https://youtu.be/PDsHswTsF7c Daily Fitness Workout - https://youtu.be/XAYNxtMBAWs 50 situps and Pushups 15-20minutes Suicides The kids can create their own workout or follow along but be creative and use different dribbling skills and different skills with their first touch.
